STEM Learning Create five million STEM and skilled trades learning experiences for underrepresented individuals by the end of 2025 3M, with the dedication and involvement of our employees, aims to advance equity in STEM and skilled trades across the globe. To do so, we invest in organizations and programs that improve academic outcomes and provide transformational opportunities for the next generation of scientists and engineers. We’ve also set an education-focused goal to create and support five million unique STEM and skilled trades learning experiences for underrepresented individuals (as defined by the National Science Foundation) by the end of 2025. As this fast-growing field is also high paying, these jobs can help underrepresented individuals build sustainable economic wealth.
